Recap of Chapter 245
After Sook Young met with the Vice President’s brother, the scenario changed toward Seorin’s office. Hseung was having a romantic time with her. Meanwhile, he was also thinking about the latest situation.
He knows that he can’t convince Seorin to give up her position as a candidate for the CEO. If he didn’t do that, the Vice President would spread the video, the team leader would be in danger and his relations with Sook Young might get worse.
The weight of those women’s expectations on him is immense, and he shudders at the thought of the anguish that would befall Sook Young should she learn the truth.
He mentions his dislike of fulfilling the VP’s request and wonders what else could happen if an alternative strategy were to be considered.
Seorin dream?
After their romantic time was over, Seorin asked him why he came here. She asked whether it was related to the team leader who has taken a long absence because of the ‘Sickness.’
Hseung was uncomfortable and wasn’t able to speak the truth. He says that he wanted to see her so that’s why he came to visit her. Seorin was touched by this. She tells him that as long as she has him, everything else is fine for her.
Seorin dosen’t need a car or house, she has saved a lot of money that can last her long. She did this to run away with Hseung one day. This was her original plan, but now everything has changed.
Does Sook Young hate Hseung?
After that, we see Hseung arrive at the new place of Sook Young with sushi. But here, Sook Young finally confronted him about the video. We still don’t know how she got the video, but she thinks that Hseung did all of this just to get close to her.
Hseung replied that he didn’t know that person was Sook Young’s boyfriend, but she was so enraged that she wasn’t listening to anything. Sook Young even took out a laser at the end of the chapter, pointing at him and telling him not to come close.
