Recap of Chapter 12
Boruto arrived to save Sarada and Himawari from Hidari in the previous chapter. On the other hand, Kawaki and Delta were far away keeping an eye on Jura while discussing the Boruto location and Team 10.
I really liked how level-headed Konohamaru was here as he kept his head cool and was ready to help Boruto. He provided information on Hidari and the claw marks.
Sumire also informs Boruto about how Hidari completely ignored Konohamaru and went after Sarada and wanted to eat her. To save Sasuke, what they need to do now is to take down Hidari.
Missed the vitals and Boruto Survived the Assassination Attempt by Jura
It was not easy to deal with Hidari as he had ways to escape by using claw marks and could heal on time. Boruto decided to use the Uzihiko Rasengan at maximum output.
But for that, he needed Sarada to buy him some time because he needed the planetary chakra directly from the Earth. To kill Hidari, he would need quite a lot.
Sarada and Konohamaru did their best to buy the time and even though Boruto wasn’t able to reach the maximum output, the attack was still enough to destroy Hidari. Kawaki also arrived to deal the last blow to him.
Next was the Thorn Soul bulb which came out of the Hidari destroyed body. This fruit can save Sasuke who has turned into a tree. But then something unexpected happened as someone shot Boruto from afar. However, Boruto Survived the Assassination Attempt by Jura. Sarada tried to secure the fruit but in the end, it was taken by Jura.
