What happened in Chapter 806?
Chapter 806 of the Kingdom manga scared the sh*t out of Han’s royal court. First, the chapter begins with Shin and his army marching. Shin was enjoying the feeling of leading 60,000 men. Our boy has really grown up a lot.
After that, we were shown the flashback where General Kyou Kai was talking about the strategy. They needed to keep their losses minimum, destroy the Han, and then join the invasion of Zhao.
To do that, Kyou Kai recommended that they simply avoid fighting. Surprisingly, Tou was thinking the same thing.
Nanyou in trouble!
At the Han capital, Shintei, they got the report about the Shin army, which was slowly advancing towards Nanyou.
The second general of the Han army, ‘Hakuou Koku,’ was responsible for guarding the castle. Their first general, Rakukan, suggested to the King that they should focus their army where it matters the most.
That’s how Han has been fighting since the start. But then another report came in which informed us that another army had appeared behind Shin. It was Tou army who was leading 100,000 men, and together 160,000 were marching toward Nanyou.
Three Choices
The royal court was nervous, and there was a lot of confusion. The main question was what they were supposed to do now.
The Chancellor suggested three options for them:
- The first thing is to have General Rakukan lead the entire Shintei army and have a face-off against the Tou army.
- The second choice is to simply wait and watch the Nanyou battle.
- The third is to send the order for the immediate retreat of Nanyou’s forces towards Shintei.
If they choose the third option, that means they have to sacrifice the people inside the castle.
But before they can even come up with a decision, they are shocked when they get another report. A new army of 100,000 men has appeared who are also approaching toward Nanyou.
Thoughts and Conclusion
Even without having any action, this chapter hyped us. It finally looks like Qin is in an advantage situation because fans were fed up after seeing them getting back-to-back ‘L’ against Zhao.
Now this bluff will work or not, or will Han fight against them no matter what, we have to wait and see in Kingdom Chapter 807.
