Recap of Chapter 223
Chapter 223 of A Wonderful New World starts with the vice president arriving at Sook Young’s home with his assistant. She asked where Sook went when Somi replied. She told her that she was going to get tissues but suddenly she left.
The vice president gets angry and slaps Somi who falls on the ground. She tells her assistant to find Sook Young, otherwise he could better be dead. Then they both left while Somi still stayed on the ground.

At work, Hseung started to think about why he loves Sook Young so much. He saw her performance in the meeting held by vice president.
Suddenly, Jeong Sook arrives and asked whether he was going to leave or not. He looks towards his watch and sees that he thinks about the past.
We see the flashback where how Sook Young gifted him the watch. She even told him like to set a date on the watch, and when that comes, Hseung’s wish will be fulfilled.
Luck
Returning to the present, he has already left the office. He stares at his watch and sees that the day and time are finally arriving.
He returns to his old house, in order to find Sook Young there. And finally in the end of the chapter, he met her there.
What has happened so far?
The vice president thought that by ignoring CEO call might be a good idea for now. But CEO has his own way and finally bring her back for questioning.
The plan that vice president brew might bring her closer to CEO position next. Also, the Sook Young boyfriend health is already getting more severe. She hasn’t got any help or pay from the company too.
