Recap of Chapter 240
The previous chapter starts with Sook Young and Hseung’s conversation on the phone. She tells him about the TV show which worked pretty well. Everything is now set for her boyfriend’s surgery.
But now, she is feeling scared because of the outcome of the surgery. Sook Young is thinking about what if her boyfriend rejects her even though she knows about it.
As the time drew closer, she is afraid of her boyfriend waking up and ending the relationship. Hseung was blank all the time, he couldn’t utter a single word. He can feel the sadness of Sook Young.
Surrender?
On the other hand, we see the team leader entering the patient room and trying to strangle Sook Young’s boyfriend to the death.
However, she received a text message on her phone and then she stopped after seeing her daughter’s photo.
Then we see a little time skip, the day of the surgery has arrived. Hseung was enjoying his time and relieving the stress with the Team leader’s friend.
Meanwhile, the Team Leader has arrived at the police station to turn herself in.
Thoughts and Conclusion
Hseung has gotten the phone call about this situation and he might rush towards the police station next. Although it is sure that we will be seeing the team leader in jail. But how Hseung can rescue her or what will he do, will be interesting to see.
