Recap of Chapter 50
The previous chapter starts with Adeshan being surrounded by her seniors. She was still thinking about how to defeat them. But the problem was that there was a third-year top student, “Ayun” with them.
She saw an opening and took the advantage to beat two guys who had their guard down and were full of openings.
Adeshan then went after Ayun but was pushed by him with just a single attack. Ayun said to her that no matter how much she struggled, she couldn’t beat him.
Commitment?
Ronan on the other hand was watching this battle from the top of the tree. He could clearly see the grand commander’s strategy and fighting skills. But she isn’t strong enough to take down Ayun for now.
But Adeshan has not given up and is still trying to beat Ayun. He wanted to know why she was trying too hard and was struggling. That’s when Adeshan says that she needs to become the “Grand Commander at all costs.”
Just when Ayun is about to defeat her, Ronan arrives and defeats him with one slash.
Conclusions
So we all know that Adeshan asked in her previous life to Ronan that if he meets her, please tell her not to pursue the goal of “Grand Commander”. But now Ronan has heard her commitment and her speech, I doubt Ronan can even talk about that to her face.
Surely there is a past story involved that made Adeshan so resolute in her goals. Maybe in the upcoming chapter, she can finally open up to Ronan about her past. Also, we can see both of them pairing together to continue the mid-term exam. It would be interesting to see what rank they both will be receiving by the end of it.
