What is Ao Ashi is all about?
Coming from a small town in Japan, Ashito Aoi is a youthful aspirant who wants to play soccer. He provokes an incident during a crucial match for his team, leading to their loss and elimination from the competition, dashing his ambitions of getting into a good high school with a soccer club.
Still, a notable individual from Tokyo who is in town for a visit notices him. Tatsuya Fukuda is such an individual. He coaches the youth team for Tokyo City Esperion FC, one of the best J-League clubs. He sees promise in Ashito after hanging out with him and teaching him some tricks, so he asks if he can try out for the team.
Ashito travels to the big city in the hopes that he can still achieve his dream of being a professional.
