Recap of Chapter 162

Chapter 162 of Circles manhwa picks up where the last chapter left off, with Eunhee and Gaeul in the aftermath of Gaeul’s tantrum in response to Eunhee’s question about her feelings for Jaewoo.

Gaeul quickly retrieves tissue paper to clean Eunhee’s face after apologizing profusely. Eunhee enthusiastically agrees to go drinking when Yeonwoo and Jiyoung show up just in time to interrupt the conversation. Eunhee leaves Gaeul to think about her question before she comes over to join them.

After that, we’ll meet up with Han Nari and Jaewoo at Jaewoo’s soon-to-be-starting class. Han Nari appears to go as Jaewoo restates his inability to accompany her due to class. She unexpectedly shows up in his seat and starts participating in class, which surprises Jaewoo.

Graduation

They then take a seat outside to begin their long-awaited conversation. In her speech, Han Nari says that she is graduating but isn’t sure how she feels about it. She wonders if her sadness makes any sense. Jaewoo explains that he previously spent a lot of time caring for a fish, only to discover, much later on, that it was a fake.

He felt he had wasted his time with the fish. Even after discarding it, he couldn’t shake the sadness it had caused. When he thinks about Han Nari’s experience with the club, he says it’s quite understandable that she would be sorry to leave after all the work she put into it. Han Nari has mixed emotions, saying she feels bad for the club members and regrets not handling it properly.

Moments after Jaewoo brings up Dayoung and her annoyance with Han Nari’s avoidance of her, Dayoung appears to inform Han Nari that they need to have a conversation.

Bickering around girls

Dayoung and Han Nari take Jaewoo to a bar for some conversation, but all they end up doing is arguing about whether Han Nari is trying to avoid Dayoung or not. Dayoung claims that Han Nari isn’t, while Han Nari believes that she is. Jaewoo cheerfully orders drinks for them while remaining out of the argument, which escalates as the females continue to argue and get tipsy, tiring each other out.

Dayoung eventually gets too exhausted to continue, so Han Nari offers that Jaewoo takes her to her apartment so she may get some rest. Following Han Nari’s instructions, Jaewoo puts a blanket over Dayoung’s head as he sleeps on the couch, and then he goes to inform Han Nari that he’s going home.

He yells in astonishment and runs out of there as soon as Han Nari, who is ready to take a shower, arrives in a towel and asks if he won’t remain longer.

Gaeul confessed

When Eunhee and Gaeul get home after their drinking, Gaeul gives Eunhee her long-awaited response to her question: she could like Jaewoo. Then they part ways. Eunhee quickly heads back to her apartment after smiling and responding that she also likes him.

Left behind by Eunhee’s statement, Gaeul is bewildered. The chapter concludes with Han Nari returning to Jaewoo’s class the next day, leaving Jaewoo to wonder if this will become a regular occurrence in Circles Chapter 163.
