Recap of Chapter 47
Chapter 47 of Jinx starts with Jaekyung’s opponent ruling out of the upcoming match. He has sustained some injuries. His new opponent is Baek Jumin. From the looks of him, this guy seems like bad news. He is a part of the King of MMA gym in Bupyeong.
When Kim heard about him, he also wanted to know more about him. This Baek guy is a rising rookie. He is new to the scene and the CEO favors him. Potato complains that shouldn’t this guy should have won some matches and increased his rank. Now he is directly fighting for the championship.
Grandma
Every other guy in the gym seems to be mad at this guy. Baek has also fought in many underground matches. And from the looks of it, they were very brutal. I feel that Jaekyung might be going to get a beatdown for sure this time.
However, Kim believes that Mr. Joo will win the match for sure. Next in Jinx Chapter 47, we see everyone in the room discussing the new guy, while Jaekyung simply sits and watches the clips. For some reason, Baek Jumin looks very familiar to him.
Also, it appears that Jaekyung has been avoiding Kim lately. Kim’s grandma’s report is about to come next. And the news is bad, doctors have told Kim to prepare for the worst.
Next we see a beautiful flashback of Kim and his grandma’s. Also, at the end of the chapter he receives a text. It’s from the executive director of the King of MMA Gym.
So far in the story
At one point all the fans thought that this was the start of a new story. A new brimming love between Kim and Jaekyung might start. However, who were kidding with?
That guy is still sh*t from the first chapter. He really didn’t care for any feelings and efforts that Kim had shown in the last few chapters. And now, he is in danger because of this idiot.
The thugs and betters have lost a huge amount of money in betting on Jaekyung. And now to deal with him, they might be going after Kim. Hope, Jaekyung can save him and starts to have some feelings for him.
