Previously in Chapter 19
We saw in the previous chapter of Just Twilight, that Junyoung is having troubles. She thinks what Beomjin thinks of her. What if she has a nasty temper? She asked him if he could come over for the weekend.
Beomjin asks for the reason when he gets to know that she has some business downtown in the alley motel. He started to ask why she was going there and what business does she have there.
That’s when she informs him about her mom’s job. She secretly wishes that Junyoung will tag with her and he is the only one she can rely on. And that’s what happened.
Next in Just Twilight Chapter 19, we see both of them going towards the motel. Beomjin made Junyoung wear his cap so that he could protect her image.
What has happened till now
Earlier in Just Twilight, we witnessed Oh Hyesoo, Junyoung, and a slew of other children engaged in a confrontation on the roof. Beomjin then asks Oh Hyesoo to join her for a private chat as he steps in. It was obvious that high school students may easily misunderstand the issue.
The children start chatting amongst themselves, speculating that Beomjin has a crush on him or that he is dating Oh Hyesoo. Junyoung is involved, but she walks away with a visibly irritated look on her face and completely spoils their fun.
In the meantime, Oh Hyesoo finally asks Beomjin what he wants, and things between them appear quite awkward. We were all confused, including Hyesoo, when Beomjin asked an incredibly abrupt question before leaving. Her imagination runs wild as she starts to wonder if he is trying to save her from the uncomfortable position by doing that.
On the other hand, Hunyoung was not happy about Hyesoo and Beomjin’s growing close, and this made her upset. Beomjin prepares some ramen and asks if she’s hungry as she returns to the house to study.

The story’s overarching theme is quite gloomy, and we’ve previously established that Just Twilight is an adult love drama manhwa. It does deal with some dark themes, but it is mostly a high school romance. Up to this point, we have seen Junyoung’s mother and her life in general.
They had their share of struggles, as her mom was a teen mother. Based on what we have observed, her mother likewise appears to be somewhat mentally unstable and authoritarian.
