The 2016 and 2017 seasons of the Studio Deen anime series Konosuba aired on television. According to Natsume, the fantasy comedy is adapted from a light novel series of the same name. Despite Konosuba’s expansion into manga and a spin-off series, none of them were as successful as the anime. And now, Konosuba Season 3 release date and trailer are finally out.
The Plot!
Kazuma Sato, a young teenager, is the protagonist of Konosuba. Being an introvert, Kazuma prefers to spend his time alone. Playing video games and being alone are things that provide him joy.
Kazuma leads us into an afterlife following a comically bad death. Here, he encounters the goddess Aqua, who offers him a place to live in a world similar to a massively multiplayer online role-playing game after death. She permits him to bring a special ability or weapon with him. Kazuma becomes irritated by her actions and then insists that she accompany him. To grant his request, Aqua is coerced into joining him in the new virtual world.
Megumin, a 13-year-old magician with a single magical trick (a massive explosion), and Darkness, a strong defender and secret masochist, later join the pair. We all are excited for the Konosuba Season 3 release date and trailer for now.
Recap of Seasons 1 and 2
The events of the first season take place after Kazuma and his team have vanquished the first general, Verdia. Members of the squad learn more about each other’s histories as well. In a different afterlife, Kazuma encounters a goddess named Eris after discovering that he can also die in this one. Aqua is her superior. In the magical realm, Kazuma also learns that Aqua can restore him whenever he needs it. But getting back to his regular life is what he desires more than anything.
Kazuma and his squad beat two further generals (with WIZ’s assistance) near the end of Season 2. Even the squad disbands for a while. At the end of Season 2, the group goes their separate ways while still attempting to vanquish the creatures who inhabit this enchanted realm.
