Recap of Chapter 315
Dali thinks Pyo’s lying and pushes him down and starts embracing him in the previous chapter. Pyo keeps trying to tell her that he’s not lying. But Dali refuses to believe him and keeps going.
After they finish, Dali explains that she already called Mr. Jo. He told her that her brothers were gonna be sent to be slaves on a salt farm for a couple of years.
Pyo confesses that he told Mr. Jo to tell her that in case she ever asked and that her brothers are dead. Dali is surprised.
Concern
Meanwhile, Amy is taking care of Dajung after receiving a text from Dali about taking care of her. She looks at the portrait of Dali’s mom and asks her how it all came to this.
Pyo tells Dali the whole story about her brothers’ deaths and she listens calmly until he finishes.
She tries to tell Pyo that he didn’t kill them and that Mr. Jo did. Pyo tries to tell her that even if he didn’t do the finishing touches. He still had a hand in it and killed them, but Dali yells at him, crying, and keeps trying to tell him he didn’t kill them.

Pyo was shocked that she cared more about him going to jail and leaving her than she did about the death of her brothers. Pyo tells her that they’re both psychotic right now. He then decides to tell her about his final plan to cut the Pastor’s hand.
Dali asks why in shock, wondering why bother with him when everything was with her family. Pyo wants to free his dad from the pastor and it’s the pastor who cut his dad’s fingers too.
Dali begs him to stop already and just live happily with her, pleading him. Pyo just looks at her with cold dead eyes and tells her that if she says anything, he’ll just kill himself. Dali looks at him shocked realizing by his eyes that he’s serious.
Best moment
That night, Pyo eats his mom’s rice which he hasn’t eaten for 2 years. Amy tells him that she’s not going to be a model.
Pyo apologizes to her since he knows it could’ve been a great chance for her to get out of her dirty life.
But Amy tells him it’s fine because the only thing she cares about is feeling less ashamed of him. She’s just grateful that Pyo can still call her “mom” and that’s all she needs. She starts to tear up and Pyo hugs her from behind, they both get shaken up in tears.
