Recap of Chapter 40
Chapter 40 of Show Me Your Bust starts with Jiho in the hospital. Her leg was broken in the accident. It looks like her career in the track field is over.
Also, we got to see Jiho’s mom who was there with her in the hospital. She started to miss her old bestie plus she was getting bored in the hospital room alone.
Next in the story, we see Jiho returning to school on crutches. Everyone started to give her a cold shoulder plus talking about how she can’t run now. Also, the exams are coming and she is already bad at studying.
Ha-Eun
Next in Show Me Your Bust Chapter 40, she finally meets Ha-Eun. She was ignoring her for a long time. She says that now she has nothing to do with her. And all the misunderstandings that are going on show be cleared. That leaves Jiho all alone now.
A small rumor has created a problem for Jiho and Ha-Eun. The fake best friend might have said that she would be always on Jiho’s side. However it seems, she doesn’t mean it.
At the end of the chapter, we see Jiho sleeping alone in her room while crying.
What has happened till now?
Show Me Your Bust begins with Jiho’s history in Chapter 39. She was a former member of the school’s track and field team. Plus, she was the best. Additionally, she had a different best buddy in the past.
Jang-Eun is another new figure we met in the classroom. She is interested in taking Jiho home with her because she likes her. Ha-Eun is the name of Jiho’s best friend.
Jang-Eun told her how she really felt. And Jiho turned her down. The question of whether she likes ha-Eun arises at that point. Also, Jiho’s best buddy shows there just in time to save her.

As they make their way home, Ha-Eun helps Jiho tighten his shoelaces. She spilled the beans about a book she read that said walking with a loved one causes your shoelaces to come undone. Show Me Your Bust has a great quote in this chapter. It moved me deeply.
