As far as anyone could tell, Rentarou was the only one there, taking in the sights and sounds of the local festival.
One of the festival vendors selling Yakisoba bread enchanted Rentarou. Instead of being a vendor, the girl was an attraction in her black gothic costume. Rentarou went over to the girl selling Yakisoba and politely asked if he might buy one.
Despite her reluctance to consider his advances, the outgoing girl ended up hanging out with him at the festival. Rentaro, being Rentaro, asked her out because, well, he thought the festival atmosphere was perfect for him. She warned him that he ruined other people’s festivals because she took his approaches the wrong way.
