Recap of Chapter 148
The previous chapter starts with Lloyd telling about his power to stop time and the fact that he came from another world to the chieftain. Javier was surprised to see Lloyd telling about his identity so easily.
The Chief of the Centaur tribe didn’t care and gave full responsibility to Lloyd. After that with the help of Winter Heart, Lloyd stopped the time and began the construction of the arena.
Well, it was more like Javier who did most of the work. Lloyd divided building the arena into different steps where all work was done by Javier and some with the help of summons.

In seven months, they were able to build the arena which was supposed to take one year. Next in the chapter, the Chief introduced everyone to the arena and announced the race. The winner will claim the right to propose to his daughter Cheronin.
The first race was between Komanchi and Schumahal. Finally, in the arena, without worrying about anyone getting hurt, Schumahal showed his top speed and defeated Komanchi in the blink of an eye.
He also proposed to Cheronin for the marriage at the end of the chapter. They both were grateful to Lloyd as we can see the genuine happiness on their faces.
