Leonard walks in on Yuri when he’s analyzing Barcelona’s match against Real Betis three years ago in the dorms at La Masia. Because of his unhealthy fixation on game analysis, Yuri has grown sickly-looking and is still terrified of getting his hair trimmed.
Yuri had just met his new pals Falco and Gato when Leonard dropped by to introduce him. Gato begins to cry because he is lonesome, while Falco decides to describe Yuri as having a feminine appearance. Leonard found a way to link his teammates’ Nintendo switches, so now the four of them can play together.

Camp Nou
Yuri imagines a scene where he and numerous other La Masia children are climbing a steep mountain using only their hands. Unfortunately, he sees that his friend Mauro is among those who fall as they ascend. Even though Yuri knows that only a select few reach the summit of Camp Nou, he nevertheless admires his father for achieving it all. Saying that Yuri shouldn’t be acting down, Romeo yells out to him.
Because Yuri thought his road was hopeless, he admits he considered giving up. They were in the middle of a chat when Yuri’s phone rang. It was his mom, Maria, phoning from an unidentified man on a yacht.
When will he make his professional debut? His mom wants to know. The point isn’t to make her colleagues envious of her success as an international actress; rather, it’s to boost her own profile. Yuri then hangs up the call.

Romeo wants to know what Yuri plans to do when he finishes playing football, but all Yuri can remember is the times he and his buddies played in the park with Fukuda.
Romeo encourages him to keep going, telling him that he, too, can succeed despite his youth. Just one piece of instruction from Romeo: picture “The scope within which he can reliably fulfill his role on the field” as “white tiles.” That’s all Yuri received from him.
Yuri imagines the white tile floor beneath him as he returns to the present, now in Barcelona’s dressing room. The shadows fade till they are no longer visible.
