Probably the best news of today as it was revealed that Grand Blue anime season 2 is in the works. The reliable leaker @SugoiLITE posted it on Twitter confirming with the Weibo post. No confirmation or release date has been announced but it will only be a matter of time before we get confirmation.

Grand Blue anime season 2 staff and studio
The studio Zero-G will be responsible for the Grand Blue anime season 2. Shinji Takamatsu is assigned as director where Hideoki Kusama will do the character design.
Zero-G is the same studio that also did season 1 for Grand Blue Anime. They have also worked on Tsugumomo, Isekai Nonbiri Nouka, and many other animes. The ongoing Mysterious Disappearances anime is also done by Zero-G.
