Netflix is all set to release an upcoming South Korean drama web series, named ‘Gyeongseong Creature’. Top actors like Park Seo-joon will be starring in the series. Jeong dong-yun has directed the series, whereas on the other hand Kang Eun-Kyung has written the series. The official language in which the series will be released is Korean. As per revised romanization the actual name of the series in Korean language is Gyeongseongkeuricheo. ‘Kakao Entertainment’ of Korea has created the series, as initially planned. The production companies involved in the making of the series are Story & Pictures Media, Studio Dragon and Kakao Entertainment. The makers of the series released the official teaser on Netflix and Youtube on 23 November 2023. Within 7 days of its release the teaser has got more than 175 thousand views on Youtube alone. The expectations of it to reach an even larger audience is high, because K-dramas have a huge popularity.

Plot of the Series
This is Netflix’s brief introduction about the series: ‘Gyeongseong, 1945. In Seoul’s grim era under colonial rule, an entrepreneur and a sleuth fight for survival and face a monster born out of human greed’.
About Filming and Production
The makers in the year 2022 made sure in front of the media that the cast has been finalised and the filming is under progress. Also in March 2022, Wi Ha-joon, an actor of the series, got tested positive for Covid 19 and due to which the filming was suspended for some time.
Actress Han So-hee, during an action scene, faced a minor injury on her face. This was reported on 3rd August 2022. On 11 August 2022, Han So-hee recovered and returned for the filming. This was confirmed and reported by Han’s agency.
By October 2022, it was reported that the filming of the series was finished and the makers were on to the post production. In November 2022 itself, the makers announced the filming of the 2nd season of the series.
