Recap of Chapter 785
Chapter 785 of Kingdom was titled “Big Woman”. In the opening scene of the flashback, Sou’Ou compliments Shiryou on multiple occasions, but she responds by calling him ugly.
The other soldiers and Sou’Ou are talking about Shiryou’s strength. The other soldiers are concerned about her impartiality because she is a mercenary serving for the Ousen army at the moment.
As Sou’Ou pursues Shiryou across the battlefield, he compliments her beauty and tries to offer her a flower. While Sou’Ou is an excellent officer, the other mercenaries have warned Shiryou that he is also a notorious playboy.

I shall embrace you with all my heart when this fight is over!
