Recap of Chapter 8
The previous chapter starts with Lily getting the letter. She can now go back to her home and won’t be tied to this mansion.
His father’s life became hell after she left, but he was able to pay his debt back. Lily’s father knows he is a bad parent and is asking her for forgiveness. Lily asked Rose whether she knew about this or not.
Rose says, “I am sorry, Lily, I was afraid that you would leave me,” That’s when Anna says that Lily dosen’t have to stay here anymore and they can leave the next morning.
Lily’s decision
Rose started to act once again, saying that Lily promised her that she will stay with her. She dosen’t want to be alone again. We see Lily wasn’t able to decide anything at the moment. Lily replies that she needs some time to think.
Next, we see Lily standing alone on the balcony and thinking about the recent days she spent in the mansion with Rose.
After getting inside the room she saw Anna was already packing the luggage. They don’t have any reason to stay here in the mansion.
But then Lily says that she doesn’t need to do it as she will not go back and will stay here. Anna was shocked to hear that. Lily says that she loves Rose and will stay here.
Lily started to say that it was Anna who didn’t respond to her love no matter how many times she asked. Even her family is the same. That’s when we see Anna kissing Lily and saying she always wanted her and loved her. She dosen’t want Lily to abandon her.
Conclusion
Finally, Anna took some action and showed how much she loved Lily. Also, feels kind of bad for Lily too. In a way she is correct, no one loved her in the mansion and even Anna didn’t accept the love she wanted from her.
Rose was the only one who showed her true love, that’s why she dosen’t want to leave. Hope we can now see Anna and Lily getting more close to each other in the next chapter.
