Recap of Chapter 498
The previous chapter starts with Seongji getting a seizure. He was able to get away from Vin Jin and then fainted in his room. On the other hand, Taejin is interrogating Sujin about why she ran away.
He wants to bring her back but Sujin headbutts him and starts to run away from him. When Vin Jin arrives at home with a bunch of flowers, he sees that Sujin is not there.
Further ahead in the chapter, we are shown a flashback where the Shaman tells Taejin that one day everything here will belong to him. Taejin looked at little Sujin and asked whether she would also belong to him or not.

There was a factory at the end of the village where Sujin had come to hide from him. But Taejin was able to find her where she was hiding. However, Jaewoo Park was able to save her. In that fraction of a second, Sujin was able to escape from there.
But Park was brutally defeated by Taejin. The rest of the group quickly came to help Park while Vin went to find Sujin. But she was already caught by Taejin.
And because she was not listening to him, in rage he choked her to death. But when he realized that she died it was already too late. But what Taejin did next? He placed her body near Seongji.
