Recap of Chapter 345
At the beginning of the chapter, Ameri warns everyone to be vigilant because something similar to last year could happen at the Battler party. The weary faces of the recruits Zeze and Garson were the focus of her attention.
It was Garson’s gripe about being too busy to check on his sister—who had likely fallen for Iruma by now—that caught Ameri’s ear. In her pursuit of answers, Ameri approached the two and learned that the magic tool battler’s tent was the site of an odd rumor.
Kalego was in charge of monitoring them, so Opera showed up to reassure them that everything would be okay. Opera went so far as to say that he typically appears troubled when he returns home, but that he was confident this morning and even invited Ameri and herself to check out their exhibit whenever they had a spare moment. Opera also mentioned that he has a naughty expression, so there’s something to look forward to.
