Recap of Chapter 1
Chapter 1 starts with Hibaru reading the information about the meteor shower which is going to happen soon. He is on his way to collect the protection money. Or we thought so, it’s just that he is shopping and acting like a Yakuza.
He is the sole son of Yotsuragi family boss. His father has also adopted 12 more orphans. Terasu who is the 12th adopted son is pretty close to Hibaru. You can say they are like real brothers in arms.
The Successor
The fans were next shown many characters’ introductions. They were all the adopted kids and the gang members of the Yotsuragi clan. The funeral has been held for the boss where Hibaru gives the speech as his real son.
He also announced his father’s last words and successor who is none other than Terasu. That decision made everyone go into a frenzy. Surely we are going to see the infighting among the family members soon.
Hibaru dream?
Well, it was not exactly what Hibaru’s father wished. He wanted Hibaru to be the successor and Terasu to act as his shield and protect him from threats.
We were also shown the past of his father and how he was a kind and free-spirited person who always helped other people. Help the weak and stand up against the strong, that was what Hibaru learned from his father. Even for that reason, many people love him. His father had a soft spot for the orphan that’s why he adopted so many children.
Hibaru wants to be a Yakuza with convictions. He wants to help the weak and stand up against the strong. Even though they have thrown away the illegal work, and if he stands up in old fashioned way and becomes the boss, the organization will split up. That’s why Terasu is perfect for this as he is a smart-witted person.
Meteor Wish
In the last part of Astro Royale Chapter 1, we saw the meteor shower. They say that whoever makes a wish while holding a precious item, their wish comes true. We see Hibaru holding the bullet which was given by his father and making a wish.
One of the meteors suddenly falls on Earth and destroys everything in its path. One of the buildings also falls on Terasu. To save him, Hibaru was able to unlock his wish power and blasted the building in bits. Terasu was saved by him.
The only way I can describe his powers, for now, is a firepower handgun on his whole right hand.
Most of the people have started to gain powers as it was shown in the last part. The peace that was maintained now is about to be broken.
