Recap of Chapter 39
Chapter 39 of Show Me Your Bust starts with Jiho’s past. Back in her school days, she used to be on the track field team. Not only that, she was the ace. Also, she used to have another best friend.
Back in the classroom, we see another new character named, Jang-Eun. She likes Jiho and wants to walk back home with her. Meanwhile, Jiho’s best friend’s name is Ha-Eun.
Jang-Eun confessed her feelings for her. But she got rejected by Jiho. That’s when she asks whether she likes ha-Eun. At the same time, Jiho’s best friend arrives and rescues her from there.
One wish?
While walking back home, Ha-Eun ties the shoelaces for Jiho. She revealed that she read somewhere that shoelaces get undone if you walk with someone you like. I like this quote in this chapter of Show Me Your Bust. Touched my heart.
Jiho asks her, whether she believes the rumors of them. However, ha-Eun smartly changed the topic. Jiho is pride of her. She will always be on her side. She even says that she will grant a wish for her in the next tournament.
The Chapter ends with Jiho walking toward her building, related to her wish. But we see on the crossing, a car is coming towards her with great speed. That was a heart-stopping cliffhanger.
What has happened till now?
I won’t take long and will try to give you a small summary. Wohee was troubled as Jiho tried to kiss her at their sleepover. The next day, we saw both of them having lunch at a restaurant.
Woohee was still troubled and her mood was a little off. However, they talk a little about their trip. All of a sudden, Wohee started to ask more about her time with Woo Sunbae.
At the end of the chapter, Woohee while explaining that Sunbae was using her, she says something that Hurt Jiho.
