Recap of Chapter 124
The previous chapter starts with Yuichi accepting that he killed his mother’s child. Masakazu Shibe was laughing like a madman while both Makoto and Shiho couldn’t believe it. Now was Yuuchi still their friend or not?
Shiho says that they should blame his environment when he was young but still what he did, killing his own mother’s child is just wrong. Masakazu Shibe was glad while saying that no one could defend Yuichi now.
But here comes the curve ball which no one could see coming. Yuichi says that this answer is incorrect. But before he tells the real answer he has a condition. That is to complete the voting because Masakazu Shibe might get upset and overturn the game result.
Whose Child it is?
After that, the voting was concluded and now everyone waited to hear what Yuichi had to say. According to him, it’s true that he killed the unborn child but it wasn’t Shibe Taizen.
The unborn child belongs to Masakazu Shibe. This really shocked everyone and Masakazu started to deny it. Yuichi says did he not do anything with her mother in the hospital.
While paying one million yen every month to protect Yuka, Masakazu sought some type of compensation. In a rage, Masakazu admits that he only did it once but that child is not his.

But then Tenji and Wataru arrive who also confirmed that it was Masakazu Shibe’s child. They investigated with the doctor and obtained Yuka’s medical records and DNA of her unborn child.
But they couldn’t figure out how Yuichi was able to know. It took a lot of time and effort for them to obtain the information.
Yuichi says that he heard it directly from his mother. She told him that the child belonged to Masakazu Shibe and she loved him the most. Yuka wants to give birth to that child so she also wanted to live.
At the end of the chapter, we see Masakazu Shibe taking out a gun in his hand while pointing it towards Yuichi.
Spoilers and Predictions
As the recent information according to Anime News Network, we know that the manga will be ending soon. At the end of the volume 25, there was a sketch of the future chapter.
It was of Wataru who was with Masakazu Shibe. He might be restraining him or arresting him after he has shot Yuichi. He is crouched down while blood coming out of his mouth.
