Recap of Chapter 56
Chapter 56 of Hyeonjung’s Residence starts with Jenny calling Junbae. Contrary to her, Jane began to doubt whether she had any feelings for him.
Then she broke down and told them she had known for months. She had grieved upon learning the news, but then she remembered her promise to Junbae(Mr. He) that she would not dominate him or compel him.
After that, Jane becomes furious and flees the scene, with Mr. He hot on her heels. Until then, Madam and Janny returned home, where Maid inquired as to whether they would like to take a shower. Jenny proposed that they should take it together. At the same time, Jane urged him to leave her alone and be happy with Madam.

But Mr. He has stated that he will not wed Madam if doing so will cause discord in the family. And that he will work tirelessly, year after year, to find a solution. They followed Jane’s instructions and arrived at the motel.
Meanwhile, Madam expressed her regrets to Jenny and announced that she would not be marrying Mr. He. However, Jenny reassured him that it’s alright, since she has taken care of them for 20 years. She should follow her own happiness.

What happened before?
Earlier in The Mansion Manhwa, Jenny tells about June to Junbae. Even Madam began to stir from her slumber at hearing that. Jenny, meantime, got herself and the plump housekeeper ready to head to the airport.
