Recap of Chapter 69
The previous chapter starts with Lucas thinking that this mission was nothing different than going against the Kingdom.
His job was to follow the contract and watch the hostages. We could see Victor was trying to envelop the academy with a huge spell.
Then the chapter scenario shifted back to the academy, this is probably before the attack started. Neid, Eruki, and Shirone were discussing about the mass. Neid suggested that they should name the Shirone omnipotence into God’s particles.
Forgotten Spell or Side Effects
The next morning we learn about the promise the three of them made together. They need to graduate together and also need to advance to class four this semester.
After that we see Shirone bringing coffee to Amy and Cerielle. That’s when he realized something was wrong as how they reacted and talked with him. It was like they had met for the first time.
The same goes with Mark and Professor too. In a panic, Shirone ran back to their research house and now even Neid and Eruki dosen’t remember him.
Thoughts and Conclusion
Now the ending of the chapter, literally took me by surprise. I thought the attack on the academy might start but this was completely unexpected.
