Recap and Review of Astro no Royale Chapter 2
The previous chapter starts with Hibaru waking up after two weeks. It appears that he might have exhausted himself while using his power. Also, Terasu is 6 moths older than him.
The whole place has kind of become ruined after the meteor impact. At least the gramps from Chapter 1 didn’t die and were alive. We learned that the hawk faction has made their move in the meantime and now is hoarding all the supplies.
Because of that many people are facing the problem including the gramps. We see Hibaru and Terasu heading towards the Yotsurugi family headquarters to deal with them.
Shio the mastermind
The fans saw the Hawk faction members were stunned after seeing Hibaru and Terasu. Hibaru learns that it has been Shio’s order. In the meantime, the members started to report the situation to Shio.
Terasu also reminds Hibaru that they all have powers. Back in Shinjuku, we see Shio getting to know about the situation. He even calls himself to be chosen by God. Ain’t this fella reacting too much? I mean most people have powers, you are not the only one.
Shio orders them to kill them and frames that they both die in the meteor impact.
Astro
Terasu was surprised by the order when he heard. The Hawk faction members were already on a move to kill them. We learned that they call powers Astro. And the ones who have wished for something while holding an object important to them, that’s how they can turn their powers.
We see two members Astro powers, one using a blade that turned his whole right hand into a blade. Another one becoming hard as steel as he was holding the hand grip when he made a wish.
Hibaru learned about that and gripped his bullet and turned his right hand into a bullet-type Astro. It was so strong and impactful that it broke the steel shell of the person and sent him flying.
Seeing him so powerful the faction ran away for the time being. He says that he will fight Shio anytime, one on one, and stop picking on the civilian. That’s the message he wants to send him. They have acquired the facility and the people were happy and celebrated with Hibaru at the end of the chapter.
Thoughts
It was a pretty good chapter. We got to learn more about the powers which are called Astro. So the people who have holder some object and made a wish can only gain power.
Terasu powers were not exposed or he might not have any. Probably in the next chapter, we can see Shio learning about Hibaru’s actions and his Astro. The confrontation between them might be too soon.
I think we might see some other adopted sibling trying to face Hibaru to get on the good side of Shio. This is one possibility.
