Recap of Chapter 317
When Pyo was home resting after coming home, Dali talked with Amy because she noticed she had a job search newspaper out. Amy tells her how she was trying to get a cheaper apartment to rent and that she needed a job now since she no longer can do insurance and stuff.
Dali mentions that being her finance manager is a job itself so she doesn’t need to go looking for one and also mentions how there’s no need to try to move.
She tells Amy that from today onwards, the house is officially hers so she can still keep living here without worrying about rent.
Loyalty?
Later on, as Dali goes out shopping, Heomin tags along with her and glasses. Flashback shows how 3 days ago Glasses mentioned to Dali that Heomin was jealous about him earning 6000 won per hour. While she worked at a bar for 2,500 where old men kept harassing her.
Dali figures she can hire HeoMin and make her a servant as payback for all the sh*t in high school. Glasses tells HeoMin the job and she gets all pissed until she hears the amount Dali is paying, which is 7000 won.
At the mall, HeoMin carries Dali’s bags and follows her around. Dali buys her some expensive sunglasses. Heomin is surprised and Dali thinks that this way she can buy her loyalty and reel her in. Dali offers to get her a Louis Vuitton bag too and Heomin becomes loyal to her.
Dajung and Dali
At home later at night, Dali drinks on her bed alone thinking about what Pyo said about killing her brothers. She calls Mr. Jo to get confirmation of what Pyo told her and confirms it.
She starts reminiscing about her childhood with them all happy when she was a kid and starts tearing up, thinking how she knew how they were but still… She cries in her bed.
She goes to the old man’s room and Dajung wakes up to Dali crying loudly while she holds her mom’s portrait. Dali cries out telling her mom that she has no family anymore and she’s just an orphan now.
As Dajung tries to talk to her, Dali lashes at her enraged, and tells her not to tell Pyo about her crying. Otherwise, she’ll hire some gangsters herself and get her sent to the island anyway.
Move in?
Dali tries to cope with it by toying around Heomin who’s happily obeying her every whim. Later, Heomin’s sister joins in and Dali tells them how they have a choice to either work at some rotten jobs with old men touching them or they can obey her and live in luxury.
Dali gives them a condition though and the blonde sister happily asks what it is. Dali tells them to move in with glasses in Hyuna’s old apartment.
