Theatres are all set to release an upcoming Hindi language action based violent movie named, ‘Bastar The Naxal Story’. Bastar is basically a district in Chattisgarh state of India and it is infamous for the continuous attacks from the naxalites. This movie is based on such naxalite and Maoist conflicts. Sudipto Sen has directed the movie. Other than Sudipto, Amarnath Jha and Vipul Amrutlal Shah have written the story. Vipul Amrutlal Shah has produced the movie and the production company involved in the making of the film is Sunshine Pictures. The makers of the movie released the official trailer on 4th of March 2024. After the trailer released, more than 1.8 million people have watched it within the time span of a week. Bastar The Naxal Story release date is 15th of March 2024. The movie will be available in the nearby theatres in Hindi as its major language.

Development & Filming 

Sunshine Production in June 2023 announced on their social media accounts that their next film would be Bastar The Naxal Story. The protagonist of the film is Adah Sharma, who has played the role of Neerja Mathur. 

On 19th of October 2023, the principal filming of the film began with a Puja. Ragul Dharuman has done the job of cinematography and the editing work is done by Dev Rao Jadhav. Bishakh Jyoti has given the music for the movie. In the movie, Adah Sharma has played the role of Neerja Mathur, who is an IPS officer.
