The stage is all set for the release of an upcoming American disaster movie named, ‘Twisters’. Lee Issac Chung has directed the movie, whereas Mark L.Smith has provided the screenplay. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley have together produced the movie. Dan Mindel has taken care of the cinematography of the movie and the editing part is done by Terilyn A.Shropshire. Twisters Theatrical Release Date
The makers of the movie released the official trailer on Universal Studios Youtube channel. On 11th of February 2024 the trailer was out and within the time span of not more than 9 nine days more than 18 million people have watched it. This is one of the best responses to any trailers this year. The movie is a much anticipated one, because of its plot and such a huge response to the trailer.
Twisters theatrical release date in America is 19th of July 2024. After that, the movie will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures Internationally.

Production & Filming
It was announced in 2020 that the remake of 1996 twister will be happening soon under Universal Studios production with Joseph Kosinski as the director. However the negotiations didn’t work out. Later in October 2022, with the script of Mark L.Smith, the movie was finalised and Lee Issac Chung was announced director.
In Oklahoma City, in May 2023 with the estimated budget of 200 million dollars, the initial (principal) filming of the movie began. Due to the SAG-AFTRA strike the filming was suspended in July, however it began in November later onwards.
Plot of the Movie
In the movie Twisters, Edgar Jones who has played the role of Kate Cooper is shown as a former storm chaser. She left the storm chasing due to a very haunting experience with a tornado. In college her friend Javi convinced her to test the new breaking test system. Everything changes there, when she meets a social media star Tyler Owens, who is also a storm chaser.
