Release Date for Junior High School DxD light novel
The Junior High School DxD light novel will start on May 17, 2024. Fans can read the series online on the Kakuyomu website. Rippū Shinonome is the author and Rei Miyama does the novel illustration.
Plot
Junior High School DxD light novel plot follows a Musashi descendant whose life takes a dramatic turn after the events of the anime timeline because of a supernatural sword she has.
This intelligent sword has a special ability: when it pierces an enemy’s chest, it can absorb its power and use it to make their bo*om bigger. Regardless, all the girl wants is to meet new people and enjoy her adolescent years to the fullest.

The story of High School DxD is set in Kuoh Academy which was the exclusive girl school before it got co-ed. But it isn’t just a normal high school as it has its own secret.
They are fallen angels, demons, and angels that lurk around the school. A normal human student, ‘Issei Hyodo’ was one day killed by Yuma Amano after the date. Her secret identity is the fallen angel.
However, he was lucky to be saved by the most gorgeous student in the school, Rias Gremory who herself is a demon. She revives Issei as a demon and he becomes a pawn for her. That’s how he was able to enter their world and meet more of their demon and angel kinks in the school.

High School Dxd first started as a light novel which was created by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero. The series has 25 volumes and ended in 2018(not counting spin-off).
The first spin-off series Shin High School DxD has up to 4 volumes. It started back in 2018 and continued till 2020. Another controversial spin-off, High School DxD DX has 7 volumes that started in 2015 and ended in 2022.
Recently, ‘Junior High School DxD’ a new light novel sequel has been announced which will release in 2024.

Studio TNK was responsible for the first season of High School DxD which was also my personally favorite season with great character design and animation. The second and third seasons were also done by TNK.
The High School DxD Hero which was the fourth season was produced by studio Passione which is my least favourite. Personally, I didn’t like how they changed the character designs.
