Netflix is all set to release an upcoming Hindi language Indian movie, named ‘The Archies’. The movie is going to be a musical comedy drama. Zoya Akhtar has directed the movie and Tiger Baby Productions has produced it. A fantasised musical band is featured which is related and produced by Archie comics. Ayesha Devitre Dhillon, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti have provided the screenplay of the movie. All the characters of the movie are based on Archie Comics. Nikos Andritsakis has done the cinematography of the movie. Netflix is the official distributor of the film as the film will be released on Netflix official site. This is Netflix’s brief introduction about the movie: ‘Set in 1960s India, Archie and the gang navigate romance, friendship and the future of Riverdale as developers threaten to destroy a beloved park.

Ankur Tiwari, The Islanders and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have created the official soundtrack of the movie, whereas the lyrics have majorly been given by Javed Akhtar. On 19 October 2023, the first song of the movie, named ‘Sunoh’ was released. The song ‘Sunoh’ has got around 13 million plus views on Youtube alone after its release. The second song of the movie, named ‘ Va Va Voom’ was released on 3rd of November 2023. Over Youtube alone, the song has got 17 million plus views and is expected to reach an even higher audience.
The 3rd and final song of the movie, named ‘Dhishoom Dhishoom’ was released on 25 November by the makers. Within a small time span. The song has got more than 5 million views.
