Netflix is all set to release an upcoming Korean drama movie, packed with action named, ‘Badland Hunters’. This is a Cacotopia action movie and the name of the movie ‘Badland Hunters’ means ‘wilderness’. Heo Myung-haeng has directed the movie, whereas Kim Bo-tong and Kwak Jae-min have provided the screenplay. The film is going to be the sequel (continued part) of the movie named ‘Concrete Utopia’ which was released in 2023. The story of the sequel tells the post Earthquake transformation of the city Seoul. This is a directorial debut for Heo Myung-haeng and therefore this is a much anticipated movie. Badland Hunters Release Date on Netflix
The makers of the movie released the official teaser on Netflix site and Netflix’s official Youtube channel ‘Netflix K content’. The teaser was released on 1st of January 2024 and within the time span of 5 days it reached more than 500 thousand viewers. As the director of the movie has his debut and also the movie is the sequel of concrete Utopia, the expectations are high that the movie will reach an even larger audience.
The makers will release the movie ‘Badland Hunters’ on 26th of January 2024 on Netflix site.

Once the production and filming of Concrete Utopia was over, the planning about Badland Hunters began. On 15th of February 2022 the primary filming began and the complete filming ended till 18 May 2022. Netflix confirmed the distribution of the film on 2nd of November 2023. Byun Seung-min has produced the movie, whereas Climax Studio, Big Punch Pictures and Nova Film are the production companies involved. Actress An Ji-hye has performed 99% of all her action scenes herself in the movie.
